Aloha, I’m Angela!

I’m a Toronto-based digital communications professional by day and part-time fitness enthusiast by night. On a 9 to 5 basis, my eyes are glued to a screen and my hands are stuck to a keyboard (or my trusty mouse) and I find solace in the painful but rewarding world of CrossFit.

Growing up, I enjoyed playing team sports but those physical activities fell to the wayside as I got older with school and work. Since then I’ve practiced yoga on a regular basis for almost 20 years and have joined various gyms on and off, in my attempts to keep fit. For me, being fit means strong in body, mind and spirit. Can I get an om?

This blog shares my personal journey to fitness as a regular person with little-to-no athletic abilities and features a few lessons I learn along the way.
