‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring…

Not even the lazy athlete, who’s body is suffering from a pull-up and barbell heavy workout the other day.

My box is taking a well-deserved break and will be closed for the next few days, and I’ll be following their cue and doing the same by resting and spending time with family and friends. I intend to resume my regular scheduled workout right after… Boxing Day.

For those of us who are highly dependent on our gyms to workout, there are tons of bodyweight exercises that you can do at home, without equipment! Just check out this 20 minute full body workout video.

Now that I’m on holidays, I plan on exploring the FitBod app that I mentioned in a previous post. Once you create a free account and enter your details, choose your goal, your workout schedule and length, and the type of equipment you have at your disposal, it creates a personalized workout! The app will even notifies you with the workout and include how-to-videos. I also hope to spend some time outdoors doing some winter activities and having some hot chocolate afterwards.
